Reading Resources
In Second Grade, Huskies should begin the year at a reading level I or J. At the end of each nine-weeks, second graders will advance one reading level. By the end of second grade, Huskies should be at a level M. Below you will find some resources to help your child along the path to becoming a successful reader.
The San Antonio Library system is also a wonderful resource and signing up for a library card is both simple and free! Your child can even have their very own library card. Something I love about their services is that if the library branch I go to doesn't have a book I want, and another one across the city does, they will ship it over to my library for free and tell me when it arrives for pick up! They even keep it on hold for me.
